Francie fell in love with the breed over twenty years ago. It all started with her first hound Maggie, then came Dixie, Annie and Lucy and in 2006 Francie acquired her fifth hound, Pancake, from Meridith Langston of Full Moon Kennel in Oregon. Pancake was awarded her AKC Championship after only four shows and just after her first birthday Francie had Pancake bred to Ch. Windbourne Bently in November of 2008 and she had six beautiful puppies in January of 2009. Of course, one more hound made her debut at HD Ranch and that was Blueberry. Blueberry is also on her way for her AKC championship as seen here with Francie at Palm Springs 2010

The “HD” in HD Ranch stands for “Hound Dog”;
and there are currently four Black & Tan Coonhounds on the property.
